Carnegie Arts Center could not exist without our wonderful volunteers who donate countless hours of their time to ensure our community will always have a place of beauty to experience the fine arts. There are multiple ways in which one can become involved, from helping with special events, caring for our lovely sculpture garden to acting as a host in our beautiful gallery.
The governing “Board of Directors” is composed of volunteers who are responsible for regulating and approving the philosophy and content of art shown at Carnegie Arts Center. The board is responsible for the financial status of Carnegie and for the hiring of office staff. They are also responsible for promoting art education through programs, classes and workshops using the best instructors and materials available. They work as a group to organize special events, co-ordinate artist’s exhibits and serve on various committees.
The “Carnegie Diplomats” is the core of our volunteers. They aid in all aspects of Carnegie’s functions and help promote public awareness within the community and surrounding area. The only requirement for a Diplomat is to be a member of Carnegie Arts Center and possess the desire to share Carnegie Arts Center with the community.
We at Carnegie arts Center welcome anyone who would like to join us on our journey and at the same time share in the pride we have for our exquisitely restored 100 year old building.
