Youth Bookmaking Class

The Carnegie is excited to offer a beginner friendly book making class for the youth of the community! In honor of National Poetry Month, we will be learning to make an accordion book as well as exploring writing some poems that will be put into our finished books. This class is suited to all ages (but we ask that children 6 and under be accompanied by an adult). The cost for this workshop is $15 and covers all materials as well as snacks/refreshments. YOUTH (7-12) WINTER ART CAMP
WHAT IS THE CAMP:
Engage your kids in this immersive arts education camp. Students will learn technical skills while engaging in creative problem solving and experimentation with a variety of mediums. Professional artist Robert Peltz will serve as instructor with a loose educational format. Students initially begin with a warm up to get their creative minds firing. After, they will be encouraged to seek out imagery and materials that speak to them. This includes paint, spin art, Sculpey, mixed media, charcoal pastels, Posca Markers, and much more. Whatever the imagery and material they choose are, Robert provides guidance in artistic techniques to help them reach their personal goals.
SIGN UP PROCESS:
1.DEADLINE: Registration and payment or payment plan must be completed no later than January 12th.
2. FORMS: Completed registration includes a filled out registration form and a waiver.
3. PAYMENT: Total cost of the class, a scholarship application, or a payment plan must be paid by the 12th of January.

If you would like to set up a 8 week payment plan you can subscribe here. Your card or Paypal account will be charged a total of 12 payments of $12 plus the paypal processing fee of 3.49%. The first payment will come out when you subscribe and the other 7 will come out that same day the following five weeks.
