Fiber Heart Brooch Class

Learn the steps and techniques to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind brooch using locally sourced alpaca fiber, zippers, vintage jewelry, beads, and other embellishments. All materials will be proveded for you to use. Come with your creativity and a sack lunch, and leave with a lovely Valentine's Day brooch!

Painting in the Negative

$30 per participant; includes 1 8x8 canvas, supplies needed and refreshments.

Negative painting is a technique where artists paint around the subject to define it, creating depth and contrast in their artwork.

In this class, participants will be able to experiment with color palettes and patterns using mediums and stencils provided by the Carnegie to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
