FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FOR HALSEY ART WORKSHOP

Carnegie Arts Center in Alliance is offering a 2009 Halsey Autumn Art Workshop Fellowship.  The $1,000 fellowship is offered by Carnegie Arts Center and the Doole Family Charitable Foundation.  The fellowship is being offered for an artist to attend the 2009 Autumn Art Workshop in Halsey, Nebraska, which will be held September 17 to 26. 

The fellowship will be awarded to a western Nebraska artist who is interested in advancing his or her visual art skills.  Along with being a western Nebraska resident who is at least 18 years old, the recipient must agree to present a workshop or seminar at Carnegie Arts Center within two months following the Halsey workshop.

Artists interested in applying for the 2009 Halsey Autumn Art Workshop Fellowship can print out the application.  The completed application and additional documents must be postmarked or delivered to Carnegie Arts Center, 204 West 4th Street, Alliance, Nebraska  69301, by July 1.  The fellowship winner will be announced by July 15th.
