Our historic building was built in 1911 as a Carnegie library. In the 1980's, after being vacated and condemned, the building was purchased by a group of fine arts enthusiasts. Six years of fundraising and renovation resulted in the Grand Opening of Carnegie Arts Center in March, 1993.
A Nebraska Governor's 2000 Arts Award marked the significance of the project.
