Garden Walk

Jul 13 2017 (5-8PM)

This year's annual Garden Walk fundraiser theme is, "Westward Hoe!",  A little garden tool humor as well as a nod to Nebraska's 150th Year of Statehood.

We honor those pioneers that made the journey to develop this land into our beloved state of Nebraska.  This event is s wonderful way to spend a summer evening. The event begins at the Carnegie where attendees come to pick up their maps, tour Carnegie's garden and then tour the gardens on their maps at their leisure.  After touring everyone comes together at Dobby's Frontier Town for a wonderful sack dinner surrounded by fun old west scenery.  A live musical performance entertains guests as they enjoy their dinner. We will also announce the raffle winners of the Rocking Horse- made by Archie Lawrence; Garden Shed- Made by Ray Schleyer; and Barn Quilt- Made by Kyren Conley.  Remember that these events support the Carnegie.  As a non-profit it is only by generous grants and through the support of our community members that we keep our doors open and arts experiences available to the community!  Please support the Carnegie by joining us for this fun event!  Tickets are available for purchase at the Carnegie Arts Center and through staff and board members!
