Our HistoryThe former Carnegie library building, built in 1911, was vacated in 1980 and later condemned by the city of Alliance. A group of fine art enthusiasts with a vision raised funds to renovate this historically significant building. Thousands of hours of volunteer work led to the Grand Opening of the Carnegie Arts Center in March of 1993.
